Products for chemical applications

This series of osmometers is designed for the for the determination of molecular weights (Mn).  These units are used in the petrochemical and polymer industries as well as in the research and development laboratories in biochemistry and medical facilities. The instruments are differentiated by the method of measurement  and have a number of benefits for various applications. In addition to the determination of the molecular weight, the OSMOMAT 010 and the OSMOMAT 070 can also determine the total osmolality of aqueous solutions.

Chloride Meter CM20

The Chloride Meter CM20 provides quick and exact determination of the chloride ion concentration in liquid micro samples with a minimum volume of 20 µl.

Osmomat 010

Osmomat 010
Cryoscopic osmometer for the measurement of molecular weight of compounds in benzene solution (approxmately 40 to 50,000 Dalton) and for the determination of the total osmolality in aqueous solution.

Osmomat 070

Osmomat 070
Vapor pressure osmometer for molecular weight determination in organic solutions (40 to 50,000 Dalton) and Water (up to molecular weight of approximately 5,000).

Osmomat 090

Osmomat 090
Membrane osmometer for molecular weight determination in organic and aqueous solution  (for molecular weight from 10,000 to 2,000,000).

The cells in the OSMOMAT 070 and OSMOMAT 090 can only be used with a GONOTEC Controller "SA" or "B".

Controller SA

Control Unit SA
Personal Computer with Windows XP software and customized software for control, operation, measurement and statistical analysis to determine the molecular weight..

Controller B

Control Unit B
Contains all control, operation and measurement functions. Manual setting of the measurement parameters. Four place digital display of the result or the initial temperature of the measurement cell.
